Osteoarthritis and You – An Educational Session

Osteoarthritis, also called degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis, causes the protective cartilage to gradually wear away. In advanced cases, it may wear completely, resulting in bone rubbing on bone.

While there are no cures for osteoarthritis, effective treatments can reduce pain and increase your mobility. Join one of our expert physical therapists, Laura Bray-Prescott, PT, LATC/CATC, to learn more about living with osteoarthritis and how you can get back to living your life. These free education sessions will cover osteoarthritis in the upper and lower extremities.

Located in the Miami County YMCA – Community Room. Walk-ins are welcome, no RSVP is required.
