Autumn Camping Weekend II

Autumn Camping Weekend II is October 9 & 10, 2026 at Mississinewa Lake.

Friday, October 9 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) at Interpretive Program Shelter near the water tower.
Weekend Welcome: Stop in for kettle corn. Donations appreciated. Register for events and weekend drawings. Pumpkins for purchase!
Silent Auction: Donate a filled basket/items for the silent auction from your family or company. Auction items available for bidding Sat. 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Interpretive Shelter and
1:30-6:00 p.m. at the beach house. Everyone is welcome to bid! Winning bidders must be present Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to receive items. (Cash, credit or check accepted.)

Saturday, October 10
8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiserat Interpretive Program Shelter near the water tower. Fundraiser by Friends of Mississinewa Lake. Donations appreciated.
1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Beach House* Native Plant Sale: See how native plants help our local ecosystems and purchase your own native tree, shrub, or wildflower! Sponsored by Upper Wabash Invasives Network (UWIN) (cash, credit or check accepted.)
Pumpkin Decorating: Pumpkins available for purchase, washable paint provided.
Craft: Make a fun, outdoor-themed craft to take home. Materials provided. Children accompanied by adults.
Corn Hole Tournament: $10 per person entry, double elimination.
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Trick-or-Treat in the Miami S.R.A. Modern Campground. Children accompanied by their adults will walk through the campground. Visitors allowed. (No gory costumes, please.) Campground roads closed to vehicle traffic from 3:45 – 5:15 p.m.
6:00 p.m. Awards and Weekend Drawings at Beach House.* Winners for Campsite Decorating and Weekend Drawings will be announced. Top 3 Campsite Decorating winners awarded free 2027 camping (holiday weekends, ACWs, cabins and AA sites excluded). Final bidding for Silent Auction ends at 6:00 p.m. Must be registered and present to win. Winning bidders must be present Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to receive items (cash, credit or check accepted).
*Walk/drive. There are NO hayrides this year due to reduced staffing levels.
Silent auction proceeds from this event will be used to replace trees that were underwater in August when Mississinewa Lake was 27 feet over summer pool protecting downstream communities from flooding.
