Alternating lane closures for S.R. 18 repaving on or after April 10, 2023

MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures on State Road 18 for a road repaving project.

Crews are scheduled to begin working on or after April 10 between U.S. 31 and State Road 19. Work is expected to be complete by the end of June. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

During construction, drivers should watch for alternating lane closures with traffic controlled by flaggers. Watch for stopped traffic in the area as traffic takes turns passing through the construction zone.

INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
